Role Overview
The People Compliance Manager will build scalable compliance frameworks across the people team. This role leverages expertise in global labor laws and employment regulations to develop policies, manage government reporting, and implement key HR compliance initiatives. You will coordinate with Legal, Finance, Security, and other stakeholders to evolve Figma’s compliance framework.
What you'll do at Figma
- Design and implement recurring global compliance and audit processes (EEO-1, OFCCP, SOC 2, SOX, etc.).
- Lead and support complex cross-functional compliance projects.
- Spearhead global risk assessments to identify HR compliance gaps.
- Create and manage an annual HR compliance calendar tracking milestones and dependencies.
- Oversee internal HR compliance including policy development, contingent worker guidelines, and documentation consistency.
- Partner strategically to ensure HR policies support business, data security, and customer obligations.
- Keep updated on legislative and regulatory developments to update Figma policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing HR or people compliance programs with deep U.S. labor law knowledge.
- Analytical and strategic approach to challenges.
- Strong ethical judgment, integrity and project management skills.
- Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting global compliance initiatives and managing labor/works councils.
- Understanding of payroll, immigration compliance, GDPR, Fedramp, and data privacy regulations.
Benefits & Compensation
This full time role offers a competitive salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, parental leave, mental health benefits, generous PTO, learning & development stipend, remote work stipend and more. The annual base salary range for US hub roles is $122,000—$260,000 USD, with adjustments for remote roles.
