The Opportunity: People Analyst
We are actively seeking an experienced People Analyst to join our dynamic team! At Figma, our People Analytics function collaborates extensively with various organizational teams, including People, Talent, Finance, Engineering, and others. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to shaping the future direction of People Analytics within a fast-growing company.
The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical and technical skills, keen business intuition, and a collaborative approach to drive informed decision-making and identify growth opportunities. You will tackle a diverse range of challenges, from workforce planning and recruiting analytics to employee listening, research, and assessing organizational health and collaboration.
This is a full-time position, available for candidates based in one of our US hub offices or working remotely within the United States.
What you'll do as a People Analyst at Figma:
- Help innovate and build the future of People Analytics at Figma.
- Establish and maintain the technical foundations for People Analytics, encompassing database design, analytics tooling, and architecture.
- Design and develop data applications to support People Analytics across diverse use-cases.
- Oversee machine learning operations and deployment.
What we're looking for:
- Deep expertise in HR Domain Knowledge.
- Fluency in SQL and proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or R.
- Experience with distributed data systems (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, Presto, Hive, Spark).
- A strong foundation in statistical methods, experimentation design, and/or forecasting.
- Proven business partnership skills.
Bonus Points if you have:
- An I/O Psychology background.
- Experience implementing Large Language Models (LLMs) or AI into workflows.
- Full-stack development experience managing web applications.
- Familiarity with Figma Design and the Figma platform.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
Pay Transparency Disclosure:
For candidates based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, the annual base salary range for this role is $136,000—$260,000 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, experience, potential impact, market demands, and specific work location. Remote roles will have localized pay ranges, adjusted by a factor of 80% to 100% of the stated range. Figma also offers equity, comprehensive benefits including health, dental & vision, retirement with company contribution, parental leave, mental health & wellness, generous PTO, and a learning & development stipend.
