The Role: Marketing Strategy Manager
As a strategic partner to the CMO and marketing leadership, the Marketing Strategy Manager will be instrumental in driving innovation and growth at Figma. This role involves facilitating strategic planning, ensuring organizational alignment, and championing operational excellence. By leveraging profound data insights and cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders, this position will significantly influence marketing’s cross-functional efforts and key initiatives, ensuring they align seamlessly with broader company objectives.
This is a full-time role that can be based out of one of Figma’s US hub offices or performed remotely anywhere within the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
- Lead the development of comprehensive marketing strategy and translate overarching company goals into actionable, measurable plans.
- Partner closely with the CMO and various marketing leaders to define org-wide priorities, including budget allocation, resourcing strategies, and long-range planning.
- Drive crucial cross-functional alignment across product, sales, and other teams to ensure all marketing initiatives effectively support shared business objectives.
- Oversee the planning and execution of key marketing programs, establishing clear metrics, timelines, and fostering effective collaboration across teams.
- Deliver impactful data-driven insights and reporting that inform leadership decisions and continuously optimize the overall marketing strategy.
- Streamline existing processes and implement new frameworks to enhance decision-making, boost operational efficiency, and optimize resource allocation.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- 10+ years of experience as a marketing operator, with a strong background in marketing strategy and/or business operations.
- A strong leadership presence and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority, adept at managing multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively conveying complex information to executive and senior leadership.
- Proven ability to thoughtfully balance strategic thinking with diligent operational execution.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to translate complex data (using data dashboards and Google Sheets/Excel reporting) into compelling narratives and actionable insights.
- Strong workshop and meeting facilitation capabilities.
- Proficiency with productivity & workflow management tooling (e.g., Asana, Jira).
It’s an added plus if you also have:
- Experience working in a B2B SaaS company environment.
- Prior experience and proficiency in using Figma and FigJam.
- Experience in consulting within the tech industry.
