Job Overview

The Engenheiro de Dados at FIEMG is responsible for designing, optimizing and maintaining complex SQL queries, developing efficient data pipelines using Python and integrating with multiple sources and APIs.

Main Responsibilities

Create, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries using tuning techniques and best practices in relational and dimensional data modeling.

Develop efficient data pipelines using Python (pandas, PySpark) for ETL/ELT processes.

Work within Databricks environment by developing notebooks, jobs and workflows while applying performance optimization and versioning best practices.

Implement and manage data integration processes in cloud environments (Azure) ensuring scalability and security.

Collaborate with business areas and clients to understand requirements and translate them into high-performance technical solutions.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering with a postgraduate specialization in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Lakes/Lakehouses, Big Data, Data Integration, or Process Automation.
  • Experience in SQL query creation and data pipeline development.
  • Advanced knowledge in SQL and Python for data.

Additional Information

Work model: Home-Office

Salary: R$ 12,566.00 plus benefits including meal voucher/food voucher, health and dental assistance, childcare aid, private pension, transportation voucher, profit sharing program, wellness program, and study opportunities.
