Job Description

About Fielmann Group

We at Fielmann are more than just colleagues – we are a team. Our cohesion makes us strong. Through new impulses, we continue to develop. With your commitment, we grow – sometimes faster, sometimes more thoughtfully. Together, we find the right pace and set tomorrow's standards.

As a Controlling Business Partner, International Subsidiaries, you will be the central interface between Group Controlling and our international subsidiaries. You will support local management teams in all controlling-relevant issues, ensure compliance with group-wide standards, and actively contribute to sustainably increasing profitability. With your analytical eye and international perspective, you will create transparency, comparable control logics, and sound decision-making bases.

Your Responsibilities

Business Partnering & Consulting:

  • Advise local management teams on strategic and operational controlling and financial matters.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting processes, and profitability analyses at country level.
  • Evaluate investment decisions, business cases, and efficiency initiatives from an economic perspective.
  • Act as a sparring partner for countries and segments and introduce control-relevant impulses.

Planning & Reporting:

  • Coordinate and consolidate budget and forecasting processes for international companies and segments.
  • Ensure compliance with group-wide controlling standards.
  • Prepare and analyze reports, KPIs, as well as target-actual and variance analyses at country and group level.
  • Communicate results to Group Controlling and country management in a target-group-oriented manner and derive recommendations for action.

Process & System Support:

  • Further develop planning and reporting processes in the international subsidiaries.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of ERP and BI systems, as well as reporting tools.
  • Standardize methods and processes across all countries and segments.

Project Work & Special Analyses:

  • Participate in group-wide transformation, digitalization, and efficiency programs.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and benchmarking.
  • Support M&A activities, especially in the integration of new companies.
  • Prepare evaluations, decision-making bases, and presentations for various management levels.

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Several years of experience in controlling, ideally in an international environment or in supporting subsidiaries.
  • Profound knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and investment appraisal.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI/CO) as well as BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured, independent way of working.
  • High communication and consulting competence as well as intercultural understanding.
  • Willingness to travel as part of supporting international companies.
  • Very good German and English language skills.

Your Benefits at Fielmann

  • Attractive compensation, 13th salary with the option of converting it into leisure time.
  • Annual budget: €1,080 for Fielmann products for you and your family.
  • Employee shares, capital-forming benefits, and numerous other benefits (e.g., discounted Deutschlandticket, bicycle leasing).
  • Flexible working hours and mobile working with up to 60% remote per month by arrangement within the team.
  • Professional and personal development, e.g., at the Fielmann Akademie Schloss Plön.
  • A digital, collegial environment with strong team cohesion.
  • A crisis-proof industry with future prospects.
