Role Overview - Senior PCB Layout Designer

This role is ideal for a passionate PCB layout expert with 5 to 8 years' experience. You will be responsible for designing dense, high-speed digital and analog boards, using tools such as Cadence Allegro PCB Design, Mentor Expedition/PADS or Altium.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design complex, multi-layer, high-speed PCBs.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and signal integrity teams.
  • Generate fabrication, assembly, and drill files.
  • Lead DFM reviews and coordinate with board houses.
  • Research and implement new PCB design techniques.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5-8 years' experience in PCB layout design.
  • Expertise with Allegro Constraint Manager or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Cadence Allegro, Mentor Expedition/PADS or Altium.
  • Strong understanding of high-speed circuit board design fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills.

Additional Desired Skills

  • Experience with Protel, Pcad, OrCAD Layout, Cadstar, or related tools.
  • Knowledge in schematic capture and mechanical design tools like AutoCAD.
