Overview
Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is seeking an experienced Data Protection Analyst to monitor, analyze, and support the implementation of enterprise-level data protection practices. This role focuses on assessing risks, ensuring compliance, and delivering actionable insights to strengthen data security across the organization.
Location
This role is 100% remote.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze file-level and storage-level data protection policies and alerts.
- Generate audit-ready compliance reports and support risk mitigation efforts.
- Assist in implementing data protection policies across enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment with approved policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate proactive learning and application of data protection best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data discovery and protection frameworks.
- Experience with data discovery and protection tools, including Varonis and/or Microsoft Purview.
- Strong understanding of data protection frameworks and compliance requirements.
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years as an analyst in data discovery and data protection for structured and unstructured data.
- Experience in incident response and risk assessment.
- Ability to support both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Systems thinking to understand interdependencies across data, processes, and technologies.
Compensation & Benefits
This position has a base compensation potential from $75,000 to $100,000 annually. Total rewards include optional health and welfare insurance, paid time off, and matching 401(k) and employee stock purchase plan.
