About The Opportunity
This permanent position supports the decision making of the Multi Asset Manager Selection Research team and Multi Asset Portfolio Managers at Fidelity International in London. The role requires a strong understanding of fixed income markets, investment strategies and products. It is ideal for someone with analytical skills, attention to detail and effective communication abilities.
About Your Team
Fidelity Multi Asset is a global team managing portfolios using a diverse range of asset classes including equities, bonds, real estate, infrastructure, and alternatives. A team-based approach is used, drawing on insights from Markets Research, Strategy & Instrument Research, Quantitative Research and Fidelity's global research platform.
Purpose of Your Role
The Research Analyst provides research, recommendations, and monitoring of fixed income investment strategies to support portfolio managers. This role requires the ability to handle multiple tasks, collaborate with various teams, and communicate recommendations with conviction.
- Research and recommend fixed income strategies.
- Support portfolio managers with advice and research notes.
- Maintain model portfolios aligning with risk/return specifications.
- Contribute insights to regular team research meetings.
- Engage internally and externally on investment ideas.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates should have experience in asset management, strong numerical and analytical skills, effective communication skills, and proficiency with systems like Morningstar, Bloomberg, eVestment, and Excel. A commitment to team collaboration, meeting deadlines under pressure, and working towards or holding the CFA qualification is essential.
