What We Do
Reporting to the Director, Content Marketing, the Senior Editor, Copy & Content elevates the quality, clarity, and consistency of Fidelity Canada’s Investment Marketing and Content Marketing content across channels. This role serves as a senior editorial partner within the Content Marketing organization, helping set and uphold editorial standards while reviewing and refining written and scripted materials to ensure alignment with Fidelity Canada’s brand, tone of voice, and jargon-free standards. The Senior Editor partners closely with the Manager, Content Marketing and Investment Marketing, the content strategist, and subject matter experts to translate complex investment concepts into clear, engaging, and accurate content for Canadian investors and advisors so audiences can quickly understand what matters and what to do next. The role requires strong editorial judgment, comfort with nuanced financial topics, and the confidence to substantively revise and improve work produced by multiple teams, while preserving each team’s intent and subject-matter accuracy. While the primary focus is editing and content quality assurance, the Senior Editor also contributes original copy for high-priority initiatives, complex topics, or flagship content where editorial leadership is required. You will be successful in this role if you are energized by turning complex investment information into plain-language content that is accurate, compliant, and genuinely useful.
How You’ll Make An Impact

Provide guidance and coaching that improves individual pieces and elevates writing standards over time, including examples, rewrites, and shared best practices.
- Original writing for priority content: Draft original content for select high-impact initiatives and flagship pieces, such as campaign cornerstone content or executive-ready narratives, where editorial leadership is required.
