The Full Stack Developer role at Fidelity Canada involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions focused on business process automation. This position works remotely as part of a dynamic technology team in a leading Canadian clearing brokerage.

Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC) is the leading independent clearing broker and custodian in Canada, offering trade execution, clearing, custody, and back-office support services. FCC is enhancing its advisor platform to support independent Portfolio Managers and Broker Dealer firms with tools that drive productivity and revenue growth.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain software solutions.
- Automate business processes through robust solution architecture and technical innovations.
- Implement Agile and DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines.
- Create unit tests, documentation, and installation procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align technical designs with business needs.
Requirements & Technical Skills
- 5+ years of web development experience with object-oriented design and service-oriented architecture.
- Proficiency in Angular (TypeScript), JavaScript, Java, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with database platforms like Oracle and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with automation platforms (Appian, RPA) and Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and cloud-native solutions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS cloud-based applications.
- Financial services, wealth management, or brokerage experience.
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course is an asset.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a competitive base salary between $123,000 and $152,000 along with discretionary performance bonuses.
