Role Overview

The Supplier Quality Engineer role is based in the Pacific Northwest (Seattle, Portland, or Spokane metro areas) and is fully remote with regional travel. In this role, you will drive quality excellence among local suppliers, coach manufacturing partners and lead effective problem solving to ensure on-time, high quality delivery of mechanical parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site supplier visits to assess capabilities and quality systems.
• Coach and develop manufacturing partners to build quality into processes.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
• Utilize supplier maturity models and scorecards to elevate supplier performance.
• Represent the voice of the customer on supplier sites.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of supplier-facing quality experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Experience in quality management standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100.
• Proven track record in improving supplier performance through relationship building and accountability.
• Comfortable working independently in the field and remotely with cross-functional teams.
