The Opportunity

FICO is seeking an experienced Director, Model Risk Compliance to lead the compliance audit function. In this role, you will ensure that business activities adhere to applicable regulations, internal policies, and industry standards while overseeing audit activities, assessing risks, and guiding compliance process improvements. You will serve as a senior leader in the compliance and audit teams, supporting risk management and continuous improvement of internal controls for both B2B analytic product development and B2C web-based financial education services.

What You’ll Contribute

  • Support U.S. Model Risk Management through development, validation, and monitoring of FICO scoring models.
  • Oversee audit activities, compliance risk assessment, policy development, and internal control improvement.
  • Mentor a team of auditors and compliance professionals to maintain a culture of excellence.
  • Conduct independent compliance reviews and audits while maintaining strong relationships with internal customers.
  • Collaborate with FICO’s Corporate Legal Department to address regulatory changes and ensure compliance.

What We’re Seeking

The ideal candidate has proven U.S. Model Risk Management experience, deep compliance analytics knowledge, and a relevant educational background. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred with an advanced degree or certification (CIA, CCEP) as a plus. Experience in financial services and banking regulatory frameworks including OCC 2011-12, CFPB, and ECOA Regulation B is required. Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and familiarity with compliance and audit tools are essential.
