About The Role

As a Work from Home TurboTax Product Expert, you will serve as a vital link between the company and its valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be to assist TurboTax users by answering their questions related to the TurboTax products and tax return software. This role involves providing guidance on downloading, logging in, navigating the platform, importing documents, printing, filing, and addressing basic tax-related inquiries. You will work remotely, enjoying the flexibility to set your own schedule within the designated hours of 8 am EST to 12 am midnight EST, Monday through Sunday. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a remote setting, managing their schedule effectively, and engaging empathetically with diverse customer needs. Basic computer literacy, familiarity with online platforms, and a proactive attitude are essential. Prior customer service experience is advantageous but not mandatory, as comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting TurboTax users with product-related questions via live calls or chat.
  • Guide customers through downloading, logging in, and navigating the TurboTax platform efficiently.
  • Assist users in importing documents, printing, and filing their tax returns accurately.
  • Address basic tax questions and troubleshoot common issues related to TurboTax software.
  • Maintain a professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach in all customer interactions.
  • Participate in the certification process, completing a fast 24-hour certification program to become a qualified Product Expert.
  • Support team collaboration by working closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Marketplace Performance Specialists (MPS) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to company policies and performance metrics to maximize customer experience and personal growth.
  • Maintain flexible working hours, with a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week, and the option to work more based on availability and preference.

Benefits

Joining TurboTax USA as a remote Product Expert offers numerous benefits, including competitive pay and performance incentives. You will earn up to $24 per hour, with additional bonuses such as a $405 certification bonus and a $5/hour Turbo Bonus Boost available from April 9 to 15. Weekly bonuses of up to $250 are performance and schedule-based, rewarding consistent effort and customer satisfaction. The role provides flexibility in scheduling, allowing you to work anytime between 8 am EST and 12 am midnight EST, accommodating personal commitments and preferences. Additionally, you will receive ongoing support from experienced SMEs and MPS advocates, ensuring you have the resources needed to succeed.
