About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in the capacity of a Technical Sales Engineer. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our product development teams and our customers, providing technical expertise and support to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding customer requirements, offering tailored solutions, and supporting the sales process with technical presentations and demonstrations. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. Proven experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, or a similar role within the manufacturing or automation industry is preferred. Strong technical knowledge of clamping systems, workholding solutions, or automation technology is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively liaunt with clients and internal teams. Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional languages being an advantage. The candidate should demonstrate problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and consulting to customers, understanding their specific needs and recommending suitable clamping solutions.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions to clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and support the achievement of sales targets.
- Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotes, and project documentation.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits to promote SMW-AUTOBLOK products and solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and technological advancements to ensure the company's offerings remain competitive and innovative.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and market insights to support continuous improvement.
