About The Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Software Engineer to join our dedicated team working on the Poe product. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge AI platform that is redefining how users interact with artificial intelligence models. As part of our small, agile engineering team, you will be involved in solving complex technical challenges, developing innovative features, and optimizing the user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our users' needs. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing scalable web applications and APIs.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration and deployment is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and staying updated with emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer on the Poe team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining features for the Poe platform, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver impactful solutions.
• Implementing best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment to facilitate continuous integration and delivery.
• Optimizing platform performance and troubleshooting issues proactively.
• Participating in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical discussions to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Staying current with advancements in AI, chatbot technology, and software engineering to bring innovative ideas to the team.
• Contributing to documentation and ensuring the platform adheres to security and compliance standards.
