About The Role

Quad is seeking motivated and talented Software Development Interns to join our dynamic development teams. As an intern or entry-level developer, you will be assigned to a specific team ranging from 4 to 15 developers and engineers. You will receive comprehensive training and be entrusted with real programming assignments that contribute directly to our business operations. This role offers a challenging yet rewarding experience, providing practical exposure to software development in a professional environment. You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects across various teams, including logistics, shared services, operations, sales and marketing, and client-facing business solutions. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about software development and eager to contribute to innovative solutions that impact our manufacturing and administrative processes.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
• Completed at least two semesters of object-oriented programming.
• Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in object-oriented development.
• Passion for software engineering.
• Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and ability to work onsite in our Wisconsin plants.
• Employment as a full-time Software Developer requires completion of a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Responsibilities

As a Software Development Intern at Quad, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Coding, unit testing, and debugging in various object-oriented development environments (VB.NET, C#, C++, VB 6.0, ASP, T-SQL).
• Developing and maintaining software solutions within MS SQL Server 2005/2008.
• Participating in team efforts to build, enhance, and support custom-developed software for manufacturing and administrative operations.
• Collaborating with team members to troubleshoot issues, implement new features, and improve existing systems.
