About The Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Software Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team in Billerbeck. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing existing software solutions and developing new applications primarily for our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. You will take ownership of projects, working closely with a small but dedicated team of developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software solutions. Your responsibilities will include managing the entire development lifecycle—from conceptualization and design to implementation and support. You will also provide technical guidance and support to end-users, particularly in resolving issues related to the ERP system, and contribute to continuous process improvements through innovative BI solutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a vocational training as a Fachinformatiker in application development or hold a university degree in computer science or a related field. Practical experience in object-oriented programming languages such as C# or Python is essential. You should have a strong understanding of relational database management systems and be comfortable working with complex data structures. Candidates must demonstrate a self-reliant, meticulous, and results-oriented work ethic, coupled with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is required to facilitate communication in our international environment. Responsibilities

• Optimize existing software solutions and develop new functionalities tailored to our ERP system to enhance operational efficiency.
• Take ownership of projects and tasks, ensuring timely and quality delivery as part of a small, agile development team.
• Manage the complete software development lifecycle, from idea generation and technical design to implementation and testing in the live environment.
• Consult with end-users to gather requirements, streamline processes, and implement Business Intelligence solutions that support decision-making.
• Provide second-level technical support and bug fixing for the ERP system, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and improve existing modules based on user feedback and technological advancements.
