We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Rotary & Mission Systems division at Lockheed Martin. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing real-time processing software supporting our advanced radar and missile defense systems. You will work within an Agile team environment alongside domain experts from hardware, software, subsystems, and systems engineering disciplines. Your primary responsibilities will include understanding complex requirements, designing system architecture, implementing efficient and reliable software solutions, developing comprehensive unit tests, and supporting integration and sustainment activities. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to mission-critical systems that safeguard our nation and allies, ensuring the delivery of world-class situational awareness and early warning capabilities.Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline with relevant coursework in computer science
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming using C++
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and techniques, static code analysis, and embedded application development
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level; U.S. citizenship is required
