About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Data Management Specialist to join our Digital Engineering PLM (DE-PLM) Organization at Boeing. Based in Everett, Washington, this role is pivotal in driving the end-to-end improvement of engineering, manufacturing, and product support processes throughout the product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuration management, engineering bill of materials, process authoring, and developing digital threads that enhance product development and support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge digital transformation initiatives, including the development and maintenance of PLM platforms, ensuring seamless integration and data consistency across various engineering domains.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, complemented by at least six years of related professional experience. Proven expertise in DCAC/PDM and ENOVIA-LCA is essential, along with a solid understanding of design, engineering, production, and PLM processes and tools. Experience resolving GSEP tickets and addressing process issues within Boeing legacy systems such as REDARS, IPSM, PSDS, and BCA Design Guide is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate strong documentation skills, including creating user guides and tip sheets. Preferred qualifications include over nine years of relevant experience and successful completion of the company's Conflict of Interest assessment process.
Responsibilities
- Lead activities to define and document product requirements related to certification, configuration, data management, and engineering processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop, document, and implement plans and processes to guarantee products meet technical, data, regulatory, and company requirements while maintaining configuration control.
- Track and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, contractual, and data configuration requirements; conduct audits and reviews to verify compliance.
- Create certification plans, process architecture infrastructures, process models, and data requirements to support product lifecycle management.
- Lead the development of plans, schedules, and resource commitments for process improvements, testing, and deployment of new or revised processes.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
