About The Role

As a Senior Network Security Operations Analyst at Vistance Networks, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our global network infrastructure while enabling seamless connectivity for our clients and internal teams. This role involves configuring, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cutting-edge security technologies, primarily focusing on Palo Alto firewall platforms, IDS/IPS solutions, VPN services, and cloud-based security controls. You will collaborate closely with skilled engineering teams across multiple IT domains to support secure connectivity, incident response, and large-scale security initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess over five years of hands-on experience in enterprise firewall management, with a strong preference for Palo Alto Networks platforms. A solid understanding of network security architecture, including security policy management and network segmentation, is essential. Candidates should have a comprehensive knowledge of networking fundamentals such as BGP, OSPF, static routing, DNS, DHCP, and DMZ design. Experience configuring and troubleshooting IPSec and SSL VPNs is required, along with familiarity with cloud security deployments on platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Proficiency with packet capture and log analysis tools such as Wireshark and Splunk is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support a resilient network security infrastructure, including Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect, and IPSec/SSL VPN technologies.
• Serve as the primary administrator for firewall environments, managing policy configurations, monitoring, auditing, and software updates to ensure optimal security posture.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain site-to-site and remote-access VPN tunnels to facilitate secure global connectivity.
• Conduct in-depth technical analysis using log reviews, packet captures, and monitoring tools to identify and resolve complex security and network issues.
• Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to support security audits, compliance monitoring, and remediation efforts.
• Partner with cross-functional IT teams on large-scale projects involving network security, cloud integrations, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Proactively manage ServiceNow ticket queues, take ownership of incidents and requests, and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding status and resolutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive support documentation, including network diagrams and technical design specifications.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support for critical security incidents to ensure continuous protection.
• Continuously evaluate tools, processes, and architectures, proposing innovative ideas and improvement strategies to enhance security and operational efficiency.

This position has a regional impact across the APAC region, directly contributing to the availability, performance, and security of enterprise network services.
