About The Role
The Sr. Lead Machine Learning Engineer (IC) at Capital One is a strategic technical leadership role responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable machine learning solutions that address complex business challenges. Proven expertise in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java for at least 4 years is essential, along with 3+ years of experience in scaling and optimizing machine learning systems. Leadership experience is also important, with at least 2 years managing teams developing ML solutions. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of ML modeling techniques, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and industry-recognized ML frameworks such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, or XGBoost.
