About The Role
The UD Team Data Programming Associate plays a critical role in supporting the school's mission by providing comprehensive data analysis and managing testing schedules. This position is instrumental in ensuring that students, particularly over-age and under-credited adolescents, receive tailored academic support and assessment opportunities. The associate will collaborate with various stakeholders, including staff, students, and families, to facilitate a welcoming and inclusive environment. Responsibilities include scheduling standardized tests, overseeing test logistics, maintaining accurate student records, and generating reports to inform instructional decisions. The role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for serving at-risk youth. The associate will also contribute to student recruitment, enrollment, and engagement activities, fostering a supportive community that aligns with UD Team’s core values of teamwork, leadership, and communication.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Experience working within school environments is preferred, especially in transfer or alternative education settings. Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively and deliver high-quality work is essential. A strong desire to develop programming tailored to the unique needs of our student population is highly valued. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the UD Team mission and core values, including teamwork, leadership, and communication. Familiarity with restorative practices and a youth development approach is important. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a genuine passion for supporting at-risk youth. Physical ability to navigate stairs and assist with materials as needed is required, with accommodations available per ADA guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for students, families, staff, and visitors to foster a positive school culture.
- Participate actively in the Attendance Task Force to address attendance challenges and promote student engagement.
- Assist in student recruitment, enrollment processes, and coordinate school events to enhance community involvement.
- Mentor a designated group of students, providing guidance and support aligned with the school's restorative and youth development practices.
- Schedule students on various platforms such as Jupiter, iXL, Achieve 3000, and Rosetta Stone to support personalized learning plans.
- Oversee the administration of standardized tests, including midterms, Regents exams, and specialized assessments like Reading/Math Inventories and Regents Field Testing.
- Manage test logistics, including student rosters, proctoring schedules, and proper disposal of exam materials to ensure compliance and integrity.
- Monitor graduation timelines and coordinate alternative pathways to graduation for qualifying students.
- Handle student transfers, discharges, and maintain accurate accountability data in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Ensure students meet graduation credit requirements and maintain precise student records for reporting and accreditation purposes.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports such as BEDS and assist with Per Pupil billing processes.
- Generate detailed reports on credit accumulation, attendance, test outcomes, and student progress to inform instructional strategies and school improvement efforts.
- Communicate data insights effectively with team members to support data-driven decision-making and program development.
