About The Role: Work from Home Customer Support Agent

As a Work from Home Customer Support Agent, you will serve as a vital point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their tax software and related inquiries. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service by answering questions related to downloading, logging in, navigating the software, importing documents, printing, filing, and addressing basic tax-related concerns. This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to set your own hours between 8am EST and 12am midnight EST, Monday through Sunday. You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure you are well-equipped to assist customers effectively. The role is ideal for individuals seeking a flexible work-from-home opportunity with competitive pay, bonuses, and growth potential.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential.
  • Prior experience in accounting is not required, but a willingness to learn and assist customers is crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate assistance to customers via phone or chat regarding TurboTax products and tax software functionalities.
  • Guide customers through processes such as downloading, logging in, navigating, importing documents, printing, and filing tax returns.
  • Address basic tax questions and troubleshoot technical issues related to the software.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through empathetic and professional support.
  • Participate in certification training to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Marketplace Performance Specialists (MPS) for complex issues.
  • Adhere to company policies and performance metrics.
  • Continuously update knowledge of TurboTax products and industry best practices.
