About the Role
The Cloud Administrator II is responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s cloud-based infrastructure across multiple platforms including Azure, AWS, Dell Boomi, and Infor Cloud. This role involves ensuring system stability, security, and performance while supporting automation initiatives through infrastructure as code.
Qualifications
Candidates should have 3-5 years of cloud platform experience (preferably Azure) and 1-5 years managing physical infrastructure. A strong foundation in identity management, networking, and security is essential, along with hands-on experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell. Relevant cloud certifications and a bachelor’s degree in a related field are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administer daily operations of IaaS and PaaS environments.
- Maintain configurations, access controls, and security baselines.
- Monitor performance, availability, and compliance of cloud systems.
- Troubleshoot incidents and execute corrective action plans.
- Document procedures, manage disaster recovery, and support backup tests.
- Build and manage infrastructure using IaC and automation tools.
- Collaborate with development teams on deployment tasks.
- Keep abreast of emerging cloud technologies and best practices.
- Manage lifecycle operations for SSL certificates, domain registrations, and DNS entries.
