About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated AI/GenAI/Agentic AI Engineer to join our innovative team at Tata Consultancy Services. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, deploying, and optimizing advanced AI solutions tailored for our clients and internal platforms. Your expertise will contribute to building intelligent systems that enhance business processes, improve decision-making, and create impactful user experiences. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or a related field. Demonstrated experience through academic projects, internships, or previous employment in machine learning, AI, or data-driven initiatives is essential. Strong proficiency in Python programming, with familiarity in libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and core machine learning concepts, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. Experience working with large datasets—cleaning, transforming, and analyzing both structured and unstructured data—is highly desirable. Knowledge of version control systems like Git, as well as proficiency with Jupyter notebooks and VS Code workflows, will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the full lifecycle of AI solutions, including design, development, and deployment. Key responsibilities include designing, training, and fine-tuning machine learning models for various tasks such as classification, regression, natural language processing, and computer vision. Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code to facilitate data preprocessing, model training, and deployment is fundamental. You will work with large datasets, performing data cleaning, transformation, and analysis to extract meaningful insights. Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including data engineers, researchers, and product managers—is crucial to seamlessly integrating AI/ML solutions into applications and workflows. Conducting experiments, evaluating model performance using appropriate metrics, and presenting findings through clear visualizations will be part of your routine. Staying updated on emerging AI/ML and Agentic AI research and contributing innovative ideas to improve products and processes is highly encouraged.
