About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Team SLP-Stammdatenaufbau in Dortmund as a Process Optimization and Data Management Specialist. In this role, you will be instrumental in analyzing and optimizing end-to-end processes related to device changes and network connections within the energy distribution sector. Your primary focus will be on identifying process inefficiencies, developing KPIs, and implementing enhancements across multiple organizational units, including Westnetz GmbH. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and project stakeholders to drive digital transformation initiatives, automation, and data quality improvements. Additionally, you will play a key part in preparing for regulatory changes, managing escalated customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements, all while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Energy Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, or a related field. You should have at least five years of professional experience within the German energy industry, specifically with network operators and energy distribution processes. Proven expertise in SAP ISU or SAP S/4 Utilities, including modules such as SAP MCM and SAP IM4G, is essential. You must have a thorough understanding of master data and table structures within SAP S/4 Utilities. Fluency in German (C2 level) and good command of English (B2 level) are required. Strong analytical skills, a structured approach to problem-solving, and the ability to challenge existing workflows in pursuit of efficiency are critical attributes. You should also demonstrate resilience, a clear focus on goals, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Fachbereichsprozesse related to device changes and network connections from an end-to-end perspective, emphasizing cross-departmental interfaces and dependencies.
  • Define and regularly update KPIs to monitor and evaluate relevant processes, diving deep into data structures and creating insightful dashboards and queries.
  • Identify errors and opportunities for process optimization, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across the organization to implement improvements, particularly for Westnetz GmbH.
  • Lead initiatives for process enhancements, including automation and workarounds, coordinating cross-company projects and ensuring successful implementation of data corrections.
  • Prepare and conceptualize new legal requirements affecting device change and network connection processes, taking on central roles in company-wide projects and training internal and external teams.
  • Handle escalated customer complaints, including those from executives and authorities, ensuring swift resolution with a focus on customer satisfaction.
