About the Role: Network Technical Project Manager

A Network Technical Project Manager is a holistic thinker who drives and evolves a complex technical vision with their deep knowledge of communications and infrastructures. Able to straddle business and technical concerns, they create options and solutions that address business needs and longer-term strategic concerns.

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong technical knowledge in the network and infrastructure domains that can establish technical evolution and operating models that will support business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define network technical evolution in coordination with Cloud, Security, Architecture, and Data teams.
  • Define and validate the evolution of Ferrovial secure communications services integrating cutting-edge technologies (SD-WAN, SD-Branch, NAC, Security, SASE, 5G, satellite …) and business needs (IoT, unified comms…).
  • Manage service providers to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Establish world-class standards to deliver consistent, high-quality global network services and cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the cybersecurity area, ensuring compliance with Security policies and standards.
  • Ensure optimal performance and security of global communications through advanced monitoring.
  • Manage communication with different stakeholders for adequate monitoring of results and business information.
  • Seeking synergies with other projects and areas of the company, maintaining a constructive critical spirit.

Qualifications:

  • University degree: Master's degree in engineering (Telecommunications, Computer Science, or similar).
  • Certifications: networking, network security, and project management certifications desirable.
  • Over 10 years of experience in defining architecture and managing communications services and platforms (SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, NAC, SASE, DNS, Network balancers).
  • Valuable: previous experience in construction, infrastructure, or energy markets.
  • Essential: very high level / bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Strong results orientation, OKR-driven performance.
  • Analytical skills, negotiation, business vision, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and dialogue skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
