About the Role
The IT Manager - Network Infrastructure at Ferrovial is a strategic role responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring IT Infrastructure and Corporate Services, including data center operations, network communications, and maintenance across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of data centers and networks.
- Develop and manage business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Oversee network communications infrastructure and IT policies.
- Monitor SLAs & KPIs and perform system audits and testing.
- Manage third-party contractors, vendor negotiations and IT budgeting.
- Analyze data trends for proactive management of system capacities.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required along with 7-10+ years in IT management. Experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, IT policies, network design, and managing IT operations in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Professional Qualities
Successful candidates possess strong communication, leadership, multitasking, and problem-solving skills, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office and network management tools.
Work Environment
This role involves working in a quiet office setting with moderate to high noise levels at times, occasional travel among Charlotte, Raleigh, and Austin, as well as some physical tasks.
