eBilling Specialist Job Description
Fenwick & West is seeking an eBilling Specialist responsible for the successful submission and collection of legal invoices through web-based platforms. This role ensures timely and accurate billing processes by managing the entire eBilling cycle, from client onboarding in eBill systems to invoice submission and payment collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Pricing and Billing teams for client onboarding.
- Manage submission of billing rates and ensure invoice accuracy.
- Track invoice status and resolve discrepancies timely.
- Prepare appeals for rejected or short-paid invoices.
- Document non-standard eBilling requirements and update systems.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years legal billing/ebilling experience in a law firm.
- Experience with Aderant, BillBlast (or 3E), and LEDES files.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Work Arrangement & Benefits
This role is available across any U.S. office locations and offers a hybrid work model (in-office and work-from-home). The role is non-exempt, full-time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am - 6 pm) with comprehensive benefits including Healthcare, Life Insurance, HSAs, FSAs, and Wellbeing programs.
Salary and Bonus
The anticipated salary range is between $76,000 and $107,500, with the actual offer determined by qualifications, experience, and location. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
