Job Description

Summer Trainee: Vehicle Damage Inspector at Fennia

At Fennia, we collaboratively build the future, always prioritizing customer value so our customers, who are also our owners, can pursue their businesses and lives. Our vision is to be the most attractive and responsible player in the industry. Our four core values – fair, responsibly bold, developing, and together – guide us in achieving our goals.

We believe that the best things are created together when everyone has the opportunity to influence, develop, and find their balance between work and life.

We are looking for an automotive student for a summer job in our vehicle inspection team!

Your Role and Responsibilities

Are you a customer service professional with a genuine desire and passion to serve customers wholeheartedly? Are you an automotive student? We are seeking a summer employee for the Vehicle Damage Inspector role within our vehicle damage assessment team.

As a summer employee, you will be part of Fennia's vehicle damage assessment team. We are looking for an individual whose main task is electronic damage inspection and supporting daily claims processing as an expert in collision repair.

During your workday, you will serve Fennia's customers, who may include car owners who have suffered damage, representatives from repair shops or partners, and colleagues working at Fennia. You will ensure a smooth and excellent customer experience through your contributions.

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, in addition to strong customer service skills, you should have relevant education or be nearing completion of your studies (e.g., technical or other suitable education for the field). Experience, understanding, or interest in body repair and knowledge of workshop operations are essential. Good proficiency in the Cabas calculation system and common Microsoft programs is important for this position, and the ability to grasp complex situations is an advantage. You should possess analytical skills and be ready to work systematically and learn alongside professionals.

You have a strong foundation for success with us if you want to develop yourself and help others develop and succeed. You understand the importance of teamwork and the significance of a collective effort as a key to success. You are capable of working and making decisions independently. You will fit perfectly into the team if you are outgoing, positive, goal-oriented, enthusiastic, and customer-friendly by nature.

Language skills are valued, and knowledge of the insurance industry is also beneficial.

Why Join Fennia for the Summer?

We are united by a desire to do meaningful work and grow together as individuals and professionals. At Fennia, everyday life is responsible, humane, and full of insights that move us forward.

In addition to comprehensive onboarding, you will get to know a top team and gain insight into the operations of an insurance company in vehicle damage services. We encourage our employees to continuous self-development and actively offer learning opportunities. This enables you to have a developing role and meaningful tasks.

You will be working in Länsi-Pasila, near Tripla, with excellent transport connections. Hybrid work makes daily life smoother. You will also get access to Fennia's employee benefits, such as a lunch benefit and access to our gym in Pasila.

A summer at Fennia offers opportunities to grow, learn, and find your direction in working life.
