About the Role
Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, a world-famous brand, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer II to join our IT team in East Grinstead, UK. This hybrid role blends quality assurance automation with production support for critical applications on a European time zone.
Main Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support automated testing systems for IT eCommerce applications.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to write and execute automated test cases.
- Research, prototype, and propose reliable automated testing solutions.
- Establish performance benchmarks and maintain regression test suites post releases.
- Generate execution reports and manage defect tracking.
- Coordinate with European teams on issue resolution and production deployments.
- Monitor production systems, AWS cloud services, batch jobs, ETL processes and ensure proper alerting.
- Engage in business analysis activities including requirements gathering and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong coding skills, and hands-on experience with QA procedures and agile methodologies. Familiarity with playwright, Postman, web UI technologies, AWS, Selenium or Cypress, and embedded development for real-time audio processing is a plus.
