Role Overview

As a Sr. Digital Product Designer, you will lead product design efforts for Fender.com, jacksonguitars.com and presonus.com. You will evolve our global digital experience through thoughtful storytelling, modern UX, and scalable systems. You will work alongside the eCommerce Product team, merchandising and marketing reps to define, design and deliver an outstanding direct-to-consumer experience.

Essential Functions

  • Lead digital product design on Fender’s eCommerce platform.
  • Translate business goals and user needs into intuitive, user-centered solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and creative teams.
  • Evolve and scale responsive design systems across web touchpoints.
  • Champion a refreshed Fender design language through clear presentations to stakeholders.
  • Pilot large initiatives while executing iterative optimizations.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years digital product design experience with a strong UI/UX background.
  • Expertise in interactive and responsive web design across multiple devices.
  • Strong skills in information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and problem solving.
  • Excellent visual design capabilities and brand collaboration experience.
  • Experience with Shopify and/or Contentful.
  • Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with Jira workflows.
  • Ability to work self-direction in a lean, cross-functional environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity through design.

Bonus Points

  • Knowledge of Baymard Institute best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Passion for music or experience with global consumer brands.
  • Experience designing lifestyle commerce-type products with multi-platform/multi-screen exposure.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay scale for this position is $80,000.00 - $145,000.00, based on skill set, experience, and other organizational factors. Fender offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k), paid time off, and an equipment purchase program.
