Position Summary
The Retail Customer Service Associate consistently delivers a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. This role involves knowledge in areas including print, signs & graphics, and shipping. The position includes taking orders, providing pricing and product information, managing store operations, and completing assigned tasks based on priority.
General Duties And Responsibilities
People: Follows supervisor instructions, assists and trains team members.
Service: Demonstrates consultative behaviors; provides expertise in printing, signs & graphics, and shipping; operates equipment; assembles parcels; and ensures customer satisfaction.
Profit: Handles POS transactions, maintains equipment, ensures proper merchandising, prevents errors and waste, and assists with financial reporting.
Self-Management: Manages multiple tasks, works with minimal supervision, and maintains attendance and adherence to store standards.
Minimum Qualifications And Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent with 6+ months of specialized experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Essential Functions
- Ability to stand for entire shift and lift up to 55 pounds.
- Effective communication with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Operate in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus.
- Consistently report to work and adhere to business hours.
