Portfolio Business Architect at Federal Express Corporation

Responsible for translating Federal Express Corporation's business strategy into actionable strategic roadmaps. Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Engages with business and technical stakeholders to understand and document the FedEx strategy, including target capabilities, current state assessment, and recommendations for transition plans.
  • Lead strategic consultation efforts for Commercial leadership by identifying paths forward for complex problems and providing decision support.
  • Collaborates with the Business and IT architecture community to apply architectural Business principles and translate strategic goals into actionable roadmaps.
  • Communicates complex solutions to all levels of stakeholders, including executive management.
  • Actively collaborates with Domain Business Architects to elaborate value stream backlog bundles of work and synchronize execution with the strategic roadmap.
  • Contributes to the growth of understanding and knowledge of Business Architecture practices, processes, and tools throughout FedEx.
  • Provides governance and oversight across capabilities to ensure that architectural designs are in alignment with the preferred future state.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is eligible for remote work and may be located anywhere within the United States excluding AK, HI and U.S. territories, however if you live within the 50 miles radius of a campus you will be required to work at a FedEx campus location several times per week.
