Job Overview

The Courier - Non-DOT position with Federal Express Corporation is responsible for the efficient delivery and pickup of packages using company vehicles.

Schedule

Tuesday - Friday: 6:30 AM - 11:30 AMSaturday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate company vehicles not regulated under DOT
  • Provide courteous and effective customer service
  • Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • No prior experience required
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver license for the assigned vehicle type

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Capability to maneuver heavier packages with assistance and/or equipment
  • Effective human relations and communication skills
  • Ability to read and speak English adequately

Job Conditions

This is a non-covered safety-sensitive position. A neat appearance is required for customer interactions.
