Job Overview
The Courier - Non-DOT position with Federal Express Corporation is responsible for the efficient delivery and pickup of packages using company vehicles.
Schedule
Tuesday - Friday: 6:30 AM - 11:30 AMSaturday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate company vehicles not regulated under DOT
- Provide courteous and effective customer service
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- No prior experience required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver license for the assigned vehicle type
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Capability to maneuver heavier packages with assistance and/or equipment
- Effective human relations and communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English adequately
Job Conditions
This is a non-covered safety-sensitive position. A neat appearance is required for customer interactions.
