About the Role
As an FBI Special Agent - Advanced Data & Intelligence Expertise, you will transition your data science, machine learning, and intelligence analysis experience into federal law enforcement. The role directly impacts national security through investigations into cyberattacks, terrorism, fraud, and evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct investigations into potential federal law violations and cybersecurity threats.
- Employ predictive analytics and data mining using R, Python, and geospatial intelligence.
- Apply advanced psychological and behavioral theories in criminal profiling.
- Create and maintain liaison relationships with various law enforcement agencies.
- Maintain physical readiness for demanding law enforcement duties.
Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a Top Secret SCI Clearance. A master’s degree or higher from a U.S. accredited institution is required. Willingness to travel and meeting all FBI employment eligibility criteria are essential.
