Your Contribution

Leverage your expertise in technology and information risk management to drive the evolution of FCC's risk management practices. With your attention to detail and hands-on, implementation-focused approach, you will help transform complex technical concepts into actionable insights for stakeholders.As a Risk Management Specialist, you will conduct risk analyses, assess the effectiveness of controls and risk treatment plans, create risk reports, and research and implement industry best practices for effective technology and information risk management. You will assist managers in understanding the impact of evolving emerging risks on FCC's strategic objectives and facilitate informed decision-making by providing clear, well-structured risk information. In collaboration with key partners, including senior management, you will provide risk intelligence and recommendations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.If you enjoy collaborative and analytical work and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, this role might be for you.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to understand, assess, manage, and report on risks.
  • Perform effective critical analysis of policies, standards, initiatives, and first-line controls.
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear business decision-making insights.
  • Participate in the development of risk governance artifacts and processes and provide support.
  • Leverage your expertise, research, and analysis to evolve FCC's technology and information risk management methodologies.

What You Will Bring to the Team

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of four years of experience in technology or data management (e.g., IT operations and development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, architecture, or data governance).
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or business administration (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, including for senior management.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in governance, risk management, or compliance, including effective critical analysis, risk reporting, emerging technology risk management, risk quantification, and process automation.
  • Experience in the agricultural or financial sectors.
  • Knowledge of industry ICT standards and frameworks.
  • Certifications related to technology, information, and third-party risk management (e.g., CRISC, CISM, and CISA).
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
