Your Role as Senior AI Operations Specialist

As our Senior AI Operations Specialist, you will be the architect of Fastned's automated future. This high-visibility, hands-on position requires you to transform the potential of GenAI into tangible business impact. You will scout the market for cutting-edge tools, prototype innovative solutions, and integrate AI into the core workflows of our daily operations. You will act as the crucial bridge between theoretical possibilities and practical applications, leading our AI task force, driving adoption through engaging workshops, and ensuring our AI roadmap delivers measurable real-world results.

What You’ll Do

AI Tooling & Market Intelligence

• Continuously monitor the AI landscape, including agents, copilots, and workflow tools, to identify technologies that deliver significant business value.
• Execute rapid Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and pilots, providing clear recommendations based on risk, cost, and benefit analysis.
• Define and implement organization-wide guidelines to ensure the safe and effective use of GenAI.
• Collaborate with IT and business leads to assess AI features within both new and existing software subscriptions.

Implementation & Solution Delivery

• Partner with various departments (e.g., Sales, Legal, Finance) to convert operational challenges into practical, AI-driven solutions.
• Design and deploy automations using no-code/low-code platforms such as n8n and Make, alongside AI assistants.
• Manage the entire process from initial scoping and prototyping through to rollout and stabilization.
• Develop reusable templates and playbooks to enable other teams to independently adopt proven solutions.

Technical Collaboration (Data & Engineering)

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the Data/Engineering teams for custom AI builds, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), bespoke models, and complex API integrations.
• Define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), clarify requirements, and align on timelines to ensure custom projects remain business-relevant and robust.

Enablement & Community Building

• Design and deliver customized AI training, hackathons, and demo sessions to inspire and educate the entire organization.
• Maintain a central AI knowledge base, complete with how-to guides, recorded demonstrations, and Frequently Asked Questions.
• Establish and lead a community of "AI Champions" across various teams and countries to foster local AI adoption.
• Proactively identify skill gaps or blockers and propose effective solutions to enhance company-wide AI maturity.

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of "Builder" experience, typically from an Ops, Solutions Engineering, or Tech Project Management background, with a proven track record of shipping real products.
• GenAI Expertise: Demonstrated ability to transition GenAI concepts from "cool demo" to "live workflow" with clear, documented business impact.
• Automation Skills: Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or Workato.
• Communication: Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable language for non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Proficiency in defining MVPs and effectively managing cross-functional task forces.

Nice-to-Haves

• Basic (or advanced) proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python) for prototyping and integrations.
• Prior experience in change management, enablement, or internal consulting roles.
• Experience building and running communities of practice or champions networks.
• Familiarity with data privacy, security, and governance considerations for AI tools in a corporate context.
