Farmers Insurance is seeking a Field Property Claims Adjuster to deliver peace of mind and comprehensive advice for customers in the South Austin, Kyle, and Buda, TX areas. This role requires travel to policyholder residences and offers paid training, competitive pay, and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct both virtual and on-site property damage investigations.
- Assess liability, evaluate losses, and negotiate fair settlements.
- Use claims handling software, company vehicle, and laptop.
- Report potential subrogation opportunities and incidents of fraud.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including policyholders, agents, law enforcement, and more.
- Perform physical inspections including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
Work Environment & Requirements
This field role requires resilience in varying environments, including uncontrolled outdoor conditions and challenging indoor spaces. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent customer service skills, and a valid driver's license. Bilingual candidates may receive additional pay based on business needs.
