Job Description

Reporting to the Manager – Business Support, the Business Support Operator is responsible for providing support to Farm Boy stores, warehouses, corporate offices and suppliers. This role entails using multiple customer service tools, Farm Boy systems, and product knowledge to ensure quality service to employees, customers, and suppliers in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.

Major Responsibilities

  • Provide first level business support across various locations including stores, warehouses, and corporate offices.
  • Serve as a point of contact for suppliers and vendors addressing inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues using multiple tools and systems.
  • Escalate major issues to appropriate teams and document processes.
  • Develop familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems and support ticketing systems like FreshDesk.

Qualifications

Minimum of a post-secondary education in support or technology with at least 2 years experience in Customer Service or Help Desk Support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining precision, and strong customer service skills are required. Experience with retail systems, Store Management Systems (SMS), and ticketing systems is considered an asset.

  • Service multiple departments under simultaneous deadlines.
  • Possible computer terminal eye strain and need for a quiet workplace.
  • Flexibility for rotational shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
