Debt Solutions Manager - Insolvency Experience Required

Position Summary
As a Debt Solutions Manager, your primary role is to engage with potential clients, understand their financial challenges, and guide them towards appropriate solutions offered by Farber, such as bankruptcy and consumer proposals. You will receive direct client inquiries via phone or video calls and leverage your expertise to provide guidance, explore options, and achieve successful outcomes. Your performance will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed individual and team goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls from potential clients to assess their financial situations and determine the suitability of Farber's services (bankruptcy, consumer proposal).
- Collaborate with a team to provide specialized services for individuals with high income tax or unsecured debt.
- Assist in negotiating complex filings between clients and creditors.
- Meet and exceed performance metrics, including conversion rates, while ensuring high client satisfaction.
- Deliver a superior customer experience through active listening, empathy, and understanding of client needs.
- Maintain and apply up-to-date knowledge of the specialized insolvency industry.
- Work with support functions to optimize employee and client journeys.
- Communicate effectively with clients during the initial engagement phase to ensure successful enrollment.
- Prepare necessary regulatory documents for bankruptcy or proposal filings when applicable.
- Arrange final client meetings for document signing and liaise with the administration team to resolve outstanding issues.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with external referral sources and lead generators.
- Communicate significant issues with clients effectively.
- Participate in training, team meetings, and company events.
- Promote a positive perception of the Farber brand in the market.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Sales, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of client-facing experience in insolvency as an advisor.
- Familiarity with various insolvency engagements, including Division I Proposals.
- Enrollment in or interest in pursuing the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional designation is a plus.
- Demonstrated professional and ethical conduct, integrity, honesty, empathy, and trustworthiness.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and empathize with clients.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure client needs are met promptly.
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and the ability to learn new software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with urgency and focus.
