Job Overview
The QA Technician at F&S PRODUCE WEST LLC is responsible for verifying and documenting requirements to ensure food safety while executing daily quality activities across all production stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customer specifications and regulatory food safety compliance.
- Perform daily inspections and quality checks, including USDA swabbing, shelf-life testing, and equipment calibration.
- Maintain accurate documentation for incoming materials, product runs, labeling, and final inspections.
- Utilize the PPRO app for receiving inspections and report generation.
- Support internal and external quality audits, corrective action reporting, and regulatory inquiries.
Requirements
A High School Diploma is required, with college education or related degree as a plus. Experience in a chilled food environment and relevant certifications (HACCP, Food Handler) are desirable. Proficiency with MS Office and specialized software like Supplier Database or Produce Pro is expected.
