Job Summary
The Sr. Business Analyst Life and Annuity is responsible for working with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate business requirements and administrative processes to meet business needs. The role requires advanced analytical thinking, problem solving, and excellent interpersonal skills to enhance operational effectiveness, product development, and customer experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop deep understanding of products, admin processes, methodologies, and technologies.
- Elicit, analyze, document and communicate detailed business requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and finalize requirements.
- Develop test scenarios and perform testing of business requirements.
- Document business requirements, workflows, guidelines, and training materials.
- Assist in project management tasks under supervision.
- Provide subject matter expertise and limited coaching to junior analysts.
- Collaborate with business partners to enhance customer and employee experience.
Experience And Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 4 years experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in the Life and/or Annuity industry. Relevant certifications or training (LOMA, IIBA, LEAN Six Sigma) are required.

- Advanced verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with effective questioning and listening.
- Proficient in documentation and planning with attention to detail.
- Understanding of SDLC, project management, and business process design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with JIRA.
Additional Information
