Job Summary

The Financial Reporting Accountant at F&G is responsible for accurate and timely reporting for FGAL and its subsidiaries. This includes preparation and review of financial statements, footnotes for Forms 10-Q and 10-K in accordance with GAAP, analytics, and internal controls, while supporting audit requests.

Organization

This role reports to the Manager, Financial Reporting and collaborates with members of the Finance team as well as other departments across the organization.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial statements with supporting documentation.
  • Review analytics and analysis ensuring data accuracy.
  • Resolve review comments and partner with cross-functional teams.
  • Execute internal controls to mitigate financial reporting risks.
  • Assist with audit requests and identify process improvements.
  • Support ad hoc financial reporting projects and analyses.

Experience And Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required with at least 1 year of relevant experience. A general understanding of financial reporting and GAAP is essential.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Requirements

Regular attendance and minimal travel (less than 10%) are required. Additional duties and projects may be assigned as needed.
