Overview
The Security Architect at Fanatics reports to the Sr. Director of Cybersecurity of Fanatics Collectibles. The role is responsible for assessing cyber risks and building the Fanatics Collectibles Enterprise Security program. The position focuses on reducing cybersecurity risks across enterprise platforms, cloud migrations, and M&A integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess current and future threat profiles to improve the Information Security Program.
- Build and enhance security tooling for identity and SaaS-based solutions.
- Own cloud security infrastructure buildouts and integrations.
- Enforce hardening standards for various operating systems and configure secure network access.
- Partner with infrastructure teams on integrating Okta/IAM and secure configurations.
- Provide expertise on cybersecurity incident response, risk management processes, and threat modeling frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans meet security needs.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of 10+ years in progressive Information Security roles, including 3+ years as a Security Architect. A Bachelor’s degree is required (Master's preferred) along with certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent. Additional certifications, including GIAC and cloud security credentials, are highly valued.
Additional Information
The role offers competitive salary ranges based on location: New York City ($160,000–$200,000), Los Angeles ($144,000–$180,000), and other U.S. locations ($128,000–$160,000). The position is part of a comprehensive compensation package including benefits and other incentives.
