Video Editor and Camera Operator - Fixed-Term Contract

Your Role
As a key member of a four-person team, you will be the guardian of BOUND's visual identity. You will not only capture but also conceptualize and craft compelling video content. Your goal is to blend strong aesthetics, dynamic social media-optimized editing, and decisive editorial choices to captivate our audience.
Daily Responsibilities
- Filming & Production: Ensure expert camera work in studio and on location, including technical setup for lighting and sound recording.
- Editing: Complete end-to-end editing of interviews, including professional color grading to maintain BOUND's signature visual style.
- Direction: Bring a director's vision to our formats, enhancing subjects and interviewees.
- Cross-Media Support: Occasionally lend your technical expertise to other group media (Pluriel, Famed) as needed.
Editorial & Strategy
- Content Creation: Actively participate in editorial meetings, propose topics, and develop innovative new video concepts.
- Scripting: Contribute to writing video scripts.
- Data-Driven Editing: Analyze post-publication statistics (retention rate, watch time) and adapt editing choices to maximize content impact.
- Editorial Decision-Making: Make strong and relevant editorial choices during interview editing, selecting the best content and cutting unnecessary parts.
Production & Management
- Organization: Manage shooting schedules and create roadmaps for content production.
- Process Optimization: Implement and refine studio production processes, from scheduling to final export, to meet daily social media demands.
- Mentorship: Train, guide, and manage our apprentice editor.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A strong passion and deep understanding of BOUND's core subjects: rap, urban culture, and contemporary youth.
- Perfect command of Final Cut Pro and the Adobe Suite.
- Prior professional experience in media or a corporate setting.
- Solid knowledge of cameras, lenses, and lighting techniques.
- Ability to create dynamic edits tailored for social media platforms.
- A drive for directing and a constant desire to create innovative formats.
- Rigorous and organized, with the capacity to structure a fluid video production workflow.

- Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract (CDD).
- Start Date: As soon as possible (March/April 2026).
