Job Overview

The Analytics Engineer will design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure and analytics solutions that support business operations at Factored.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, models, and ETL processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet data requirements.
  • Implement data validation, cleansing, and monitoring techniques.
  • Optimize data pipelines and analytics processes for efficiency.
  • Develop and test code using CI/CD best practices.
  • Create data models employing modern data stack tools like DBT.
  • Maintain data catalogs and definitions.
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to implement data-driven models, algorithms, and visualizations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in data analytics or analytics engineering.
  • Proven experience in designing ETLs.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and T-SQL.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with PowerBI and advanced SQL-based transformations.
  • Adherence to software engineering best practices including version control and CI/CD.
  • Strong documentation skills for company-wide data discovery.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English.
