Fraud Incident Analyst - Cybersecurity & Threat Innovation Unit

Your mission will be to be the first specialized line of response to biometric fraud incidents reported by our clients. You will analyze evidence from each incident — logs, verification sessions, video frames, liveness scores, etc. —, diagnose the attack vector with technical criteria, and clearly communicate what happened and how to proceed. This is a forensic analysis role applied to digital identity fraud.
Main Tasks
- Incident Management: Receive, classify, and prioritize fraud incidents reported by clients (banks, fintechs, telcos).
- Evidence Analysis: Analyze logs, frame sequences, video metadata, and biometric engine scores.
- Attack Vector Identification: Identify and document the attack vector (video injection, deepfake, morphing, face swap, replay attack).
- Distinguish Incident Types: Differentiate between real fraud, false positives, or configuration errors.
- Client Communication: Draft clear and structured technical incident reports for the client.
- Client Liaison: Manage communication with the client's fraud, KYC, and compliance teams during the incident.
- Client Updates: Keep the client informed of the case status, progress, and conclusions.
- Internal Escalation & Collaboration: Escalate to L3 - Senior Fraud Specialist, R&D, Cybersecurity, or Product/Engineering when the incident reveals a bug, a new attack pattern, or a system weakness.
- Knowledge Base Documentation: Document cases and patterns in the internal knowledge base.
- Product Feedback: Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback for detection improvements.

Minimum Requirements
- Experience and Knowledge: 2-4 years of experience in fraud analysis, KYC, digital identity, or cybersecurity.
- Digital Onboarding Familiarity: Familiarity with digital onboarding and identity verification flows.
- Data Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret technical data (JSONs, logs, metrics, scores). Programming knowledge is not required.
- Biometric Attack Knowledge: Basic knowledge of biometric attack types (presentation attacks, video injection, deepfake).
- Key Competencies:
- Forensic mindset: You seek to understand 'what happened' before drawing conclusions.
- Excellent written communication in Spanish and English; your reports represent Facephi.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous cases.
- Technical curiosity: Genuine interest in understanding how attacks work.
