Job Summary
F5 is seeking a senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI) to join our team in the Southern Europe Region. This role is crucial for supporting the sales of F5 technology, particularly within the context of AI Data Center Infrastructures (AI Factories) and AI Applications. You will collaborate with AI Sales roles to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and propose appropriate F5 solutions. A key aspect of this role is to act as a trusted advisor and champion for customers in the AI technology ecosystem, contributing to internal and external knowledge sharing through various content formats.
What You Will Do
- Identify and pursue strategic opportunities within AI Infrastructure and AI applications.
- Provide technical expertise to integrate F5 technology into these opportunities.
- Act as an evangelist and thought leader in the AI technology and business space.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and internal business leaders to share insights and identify solutions.
- Advocate for customer needs and innovative ideas with Product Management and services teams.
- Provide technical and business feedback to Product Management and services teams for product development.
- Mentor the Solution Engineering community within the organization.
How You Will Do It
- Experience in evangelism, thought leadership, and mentoring in the AI field.
- Serve as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Product Engineering.
- Experience working with strategic business opportunities.
- Proficiency in AI best practices, technology landscape, and ecosystem.
- Knowledge of AI application architectures and components, including LLMs, Orchestrators, Agents, and Tools, with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Understanding of AI infrastructure and data center network designs, including Nvidia reference architectures (preferred).
- Familiarity with the current AI App security ecosystem and challenges.
- Knowledge of Storage technologies for efficient data delivery in AI training, fine-tuning, and inference.
- Advanced usage of AI tools for content search, analysis, generation, and task automation.
- Knowledge of cloud-native application design patterns (Kubernetes, APIs, micro-services, service mesh, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of business outcome-focused architecture, engineering, and operations practices.
